The Supply Department has released a list of 16,742 people in view of the ration fraud. The list includes names of people who either pay income tax themselves or their family members pay tax.
16 thousand cardholders may be disqualified
The names of the people have been announced. Now those people have to go to the supply department and advertise themselves. The district supply department has initiated efforts to declare such ration cards ineligible, whose holders fall under the income tax bracket. If any person included in the ration card is an income tax payer then the ration card will be declared invalid. In such a situation, it is estimated that 16 thousand ration cards will be declared invalid.
