Gifted To Bihar By Gautam Adani, This Plant Will Be Set Up At A Cost Of Rs 1,600 Crore.

Bihar’s days seem to be changing soon. On one hand, special infrastructure projects and huge investments for Bihar have been announced in the central government’s budget. Now industries are also moving towards Bihar. A company of the country’s second richest person Gautam Adani is planning to invest Rs 1,600 crore in Bihar.

Gautam Adani’s son Karan Adani wrote in a post on ‘X’ that Adani’s holding company Ambuja Cement will set up a cement grinding unit in Bihar. An investment of around Rs 1,600 crore will be made for this.

This amount of cement will be produced each year.

Adani Group’s Ambuja Cement will set up this cement grinding unit at Warisaliganj, Bihar. Its total capacity will be 60 lakh tonnes per annum (MTPA). This project will be implemented in three phases, where the first phase of 2.4 MTPA is planned to start by December 2025 with an investment of Rs 1,100 crore.

Adequate arrangements have been made for the land in view of future expansion of the plant. This will enable the second phase of the unit to be commissioned in a timely manner with very low capital expenditure. Warisaliganj is a tehsil, which falls under Nawada district of Bihar. This unit at Mosama village is well connected by road and rail. Warisaliganj Railway Station is 1 km from the company’s plant and SH-83 is just 500 meters away.

Local employment and infrastructure will be rejuvenated

The company says that this project will help meet the growing infrastructure needs of Bihar. Bihar has also been blessed with many road infrastructure projects in the recent Union Budget. To launch this project, the Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA) organised a foundation stone laying ceremony on August 3. On this, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said, “This investment by the Adani Group is a testament to our commitment to promote the development of Bihar.”
