Gold Prices Rise In Delhi, Silver Falls In Record, See Price


On the one hand, there has been a major fall in the stock markets of the world, including India. On the other hand, gold has become more expensive in the capital of the country, Delhi. According to data, gold has become more expensive by Rs 250 in the Delhi spot market. If we talk about silver, a record fall of Rs 1,300 has been observed. Gold becomes more expensive in Delhi

Amid rising demand from jewellers, the price of gold rose by Rs 250 to Rs 72,800 per 10 grams in the local bullion market on Monday. In the last trading session on Saturday, gold closed at Rs 72,550 per 10 grams. All India Bullion Association said that on the contrary, due to weak buying by coin makers and industrial units, silver declined for the third consecutive day and its price fell by Rs 1,300 to close at Rs 84,200 per kg. In its last trading session, silver closed at Rs 85,500 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of gold with 99.5 per cent purity rose by Rs 250 to Rs 72,450 per ten grams. Its previous closing price was Rs 72,200 per 10 grams.

Gold and silver fell in foreign markets

On the foreign market, gold futures on the Comex exchange in New York fell by $38.10 per ounce to $2,431.70 per ounce. Meanwhile, the spot gold price fell by $54.83 per ounce to $2,388.41 per ounce. Silver futures are trading at $27.28 per ounce, down by around 4 percent. On the other hand, the spot silver price is trading at $27.06 per ounce, down by more than 5 percent.

Gold and silver prices fell on MCX

Meanwhile, the gold price on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) fell by over Rs 1,400 during the trading session to Rs 68,379 per ten grams. At around 8 pm, gold on MCX is trading at Rs 68,954 with a drop of Rs 835. On the other hand, silver price saw a drop of Rs 4,223 per kg during the trading session and the price stood at Rs 78,270 per kg. At 8 pm, silver is trading at Rs 79,576 with a drop of Rs 2,917.
