Gorakhpur: Siblings Ate Samosas And Cheese After Tying Rakhi, Died

A heartbreaking case has emerged from Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur, where the joy of Rakshabandhan turned into mourning in a house. Here, eating samosas and paneer on the festival of Rakhi proved so difficult for siblings that they lost their lives. After eating paneer and samosa brought from the market, the condition of both deteriorated, after which they died. After the accident, the siblings are in a bad condition and are crying.

Seema got married to Dudhnath about 19 years ago in Katghara village of Sikriganj police station area. There was a dispute between the two since the marriage, after which the woman was separated from her husband for 15 years. In this situation, she worked day and night in a factory in Gida to support her three children and lived in a rented house in the nearby town of Banspar. He married his elder daughter about seven years ago. The second daughter was also married to Mahendra Gupta, a resident of Chitauni, a year ago. Her husband works in Delhi. At the beginning of the month of Sawan, the younger daughter Pooja came to her mother and brother. There was an atmosphere of joy and happiness in the house.

Health deteriorated after eating samosa and paneer

At the insistence of her mother and brother, Pooja Rakhi stayed at her parents’ house for the festival. Meanwhile, the mother also called the elder daughter and asked her to come for Rakshabandhan, but she asked to come later. Soon the festival of Rakshabandhan also came. Brother Vikas and sister Pooja performed the rakhi tying ceremony, but perhaps neither of them could have imagined that this would be the last rakshabandhan for both of them. To please sister, brother brought samosas and cheese from Pepperouli market in the evening. Both of them ate samosas together, but after this both of them started having stomach pain.

His mother took him to the hospital due to stomach pain

However, both of them did not pay much attention to this and Pooja started making a curry made from the paneer brought from the market. Vegetables were cooked and both ate cheese. After this, both of them started having more stomach pain and their condition worsened. At the same time mother came from border duty. She then rushed both the children to the nearest Bengali doctor. The Bengali doctor gave both of them injections and sent them home, but after going home their health worsened.

The police started an investigation

In such a situation, the mother with the help of relatives admitted both of them to a private hospital in Jhungia, where as the condition worsened, son Vikas was sent to the district hospital. He died there during treatment. Pooja was also brought to the district hospital where her condition worsened where she also died. Mother Seema is in bad condition and is crying over the death of both her children. Regarding the incident, SDM Vikas Gupta said that the remaining samples of the items brought home were taken from the shop from where the cheese and samosas were brought. The police have seized the CCTV footage of the shop. Further action will be taken after the postmortem report.
