GST Collection: A good news has come regarding GST collection. A 10 per cent increase has been observed in the government coffers. The total GST collection in August was Rs 1.74 lakh crore. Let us tell you that in the month of June, GST collection was over Rs 1.74 lakh crore, of which CGST was Rs 39,586 crore and SGST was Rs 33,548 crore. The government’s GST collection in May 2024 was Rs 1.73 lakh crore. Which was a record 10 per cent more than the GST collection in the month of May last year. Last year in May, this figure was Rs 1.57 lakh crore collected.
