238 talukas have received significant rainfall in the last 24 hours. Bhanwad in Dwarka recorded the highest rainfall of 12 inches. Abdasa of Kutch has received 11 inches of rain. Kalyanpur of Dwarka has received 10.5 inches of rain. 9 inches of rain has been recorded in Lakhpat of Kutch. Dwarka received 9 inches of rain. Jamjodhpur received 9 inches, Mandvi 7.2 inches and Jamnagar 6.9 inches.

24 rivers above danger mark

Road traffic and train movement have also been disrupted as roads and railway lines have been submerged due to rain. Ahmedabad Division of Western Railway said that 48 trains have been cancelled, 14 partially canceled and 6 trains stopped midway. Routes of 23 trains have been changed.
