Union Home Minister Amit Shah sounded the bugle for the Maharashtra assembly elections from Pune on Sunday. Addressing BJP’s state conference in Pune, Amit Shah lashed out at NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Shiv Sena faction leader Uddhav Thackeray. Amit Shah called Sharad Pawar the kingpin who institutionalized corruption in the country. Calling Uddhav Thackeray the head of the Aurangzeb fan club, he accused Rahul Gandhi of being arrogant even though the Congress had lost three elections.

Thus, after the Lok Sabha elections, Amit Shah lashed out at three top leaders of the Maha Vikas Aghadi in Maharashtra and claimed that the state would again form an NDA government. Let’s know what big things Amit Shah said in the meeting in Pune.

  1. Amit Shah said that the biggest leader of corruption in Indian politics, if anyone, is Sharad Pawar. There is no confusion in my mind about this. I openly say that Pawar has institutionalized corruption in the country.
  2. Shah said that when the BJP was in power in Maharashtra (led by Devendra Fadnavis) it gave reservation to the Marathas, whereas whenever the Sharad Pawar government comes to power, the Maratha reservation gets lost. Mahayuti government should come to power to ensure reservation to Marathas.
  3. Shah said that Uddhav Thackeray has sat with those who apologized for 1993 Mumbai serial bomb blast convict Yakub Memon. Who are Aurangzeb’s admirers? Those who feed biryani to Kasab, those who give Zakir Naik Peace Ambassador Award, those who apologize to Yakub Memon and those who support PFI. Uddhav Thackeray should be ashamed, who sits with these people.
  4. Shah said that Rahul Gandhi’s ego will be shattered after winning the Maharashtra, Haryana and Jharkhand assembly elections later this year. I want to ask the women of Karnataka, Telangana and Himachal Pradesh to start this demand.
  5. Shah urged the party workers in Maharashtra to improve their position in the upcoming state assembly elections. Mark my words, the BJP-led coalition will achieve a landslide victory in Maharashtra, he said.
  6. Emphasizing the importance of the Lok Sabha mandate of 2024, Amit Shah said that in the last 60 years no Prime Minister could achieve three consecutive terms. Maharashtra will see good results for the year 2014 and 2019.
  7. Amit Shah appealed to the BJP workers to ensure the victory of the alliance partners (Shiv Sena led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and NCP led by Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar) in the elections. He said that we will form a coalition government under the leadership of BJP.
  8. Amit Shah said that we have to do two things in Maharashtra: review the results of the Lok Sabha elections and win the state elections. He said that the whole country was waiting for a uniform civil code.
  9. He said it’s only been ten years. Shah also accused the opposition of spreading false statements about changing the constitution. Shah said that the Congress insulted Baba Saheb Ambedkar which even the British did not. Sharad Pawar creates new illusions every day.
  10. He said that only BJP can work for the welfare of the poor, not Congress. Shah said that when the UPA government (2004-14) was in power, Maharashtra received only Rs 1.97 lakh crore in ten years, while under the Modi government this amount has increased to Rs 10 lakh crore in the last decade.
