The Congress has braced itself for the Haryana assembly elections and has started brainstorming candidates. After BJP, now Congress has also called the screening committee meeting today. Congressional Screening Committee
According to information, a minimum of two names and a maximum of four names will be selected for the Assembly seats in the Congress Screening Committee. This list of candidates will then go to the Central Election Committee (CEC). Where CEC will announce the final list of candidates.
Stamp on the name of the candidate
The state Congress leaders and party high command are also present in this meeting. In which the Congress President’s approval has been given to the finalized candidates. After this the list is released. In this context, the first list of Haryana Congress may be announced in the first week of September.
Haryana Election Committee meeting
Earlier, a meeting of the Haryana Election Committee was held in Delhi. All Haryana Congress leaders including state president Udaybhan, former chief minister Bhupendra Hooda, Kumari Selja, Birendra Singh and Randeep Surjewala participated. After the meeting, Congress state in-charge Deepak Babria said that the meeting of the screening committee is to be held from August 26.
