Heavy Rain In Several Districts Of Bihar-UP Since Morning… Orange Alert In Himachal-Uttrakhand, Know The Weather Of 20 States.

Many districts of Uttar Pradesh including Banaras, Gazipur, Mau, Ballia, Azamgarh, Ayodhya and Lucknow have been receiving light rain since morning, according to a report issued by the Delhi Center of the Indian Meteorological Department, Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad. A yellow alert has been issued for the entire NCR on Monday. Skies will remain cloudy throughout the day with a chance of light to moderate rain. The Meteorological Department has predicted a maximum temperature of 33 degrees and a minimum temperature of 26 degrees today. There was heavy rain in Delhi NCR on Sunday afternoon as well.

Landslides have occurred in many places in Uttarakhand

The weather remained clear till afternoon, but then the sky became cloudy and rain started in the afternoon and continued till evening, sometimes heavy and sometimes light. On the other hand, heavy rains have also triggered landslides at many places in hilly areas like Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu-Kashmir. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of landslides in all these hill states today. There is also danger of lightning in many places in these states.

280 roads closed in Himachal, water entered houses

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for these two districts and warned of the possibility of landslides and lightning. In view of this, the state government has also advised the tourists to be extra cautious while going to the hilly areas. Similarly, landslide cases have increased in Himachal Pradesh due to heavy rainfall for the past two days. More than 280 roads in the state have been closed due to floods and landslides. Sewage water has started entering the houses in summer.

Chance of heavy rain in these states

At the same time, no news was received about more than 30 people who went missing in the July 31 floods in Kullu, Mandi and Shimla. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains may occur in large parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh today. Similarly, West Bengal, Northeast India, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and South Interior Karnataka may also receive light to moderate rains. Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Vidarbha, Rayalaseema, South Interior Karnataka, Goa, Coastal Karnataka, Coastal Maharashtra, Gujarat and Andaman and Nicobar Islands are likely to receive moderate to heavy rain today.
