The owner of a private hospital in Bihar’s Darbhanga district raped a woman of another religion in the name of getting a job. The victim became pregnant twice and both times she was forcibly aborted. The accused along with his accomplices kidnapped the victim and tried to sell her. The victim escaped from their clutches. He complained about this to the police. Police have registered a case and started investigation.
While complaining to the police, the victim said that the accused Vijay Yadav is a resident of Fulhar village in Madhubani district. He raped the victim for months in the name of getting her to work in his hospital. During this period, the victim became pregnant twice and the accused illegally forced her to abort both times. Apart from Vijay Yadav, the victim has also named Sanjeet Kumar and Chandan Kumar Yadav as accused. The victim says that she was working in a private clinic in Allapatti. During that time he met Vijay Yadav.
The accused kept me as his wife
Accused Vijay Yadav lured the victim with higher salary and good education for her child. Under the influence of the accused, she left the clinic in February 2024 and started working at Vijay Yadav’s Radiant Janaki Samriddhi Hospital. A week later, Vijay Yadav got the victim a rented house in Bakarganj area of Laheriyasarai police station area. It is alleged that Vijay introduced the victim to the landlord as his wife. The accused told the victim that now you don’t need to work in the hospital, but stay here as my wife.
Charged with taking for sale in a vehicle
The victim alleged that from that moment Vijay Yadav started raping her. She became pregnant twice during this period. Both times the victim had an abortion. The victim alleged that one day the accused Vijay Yadav along with his accomplices Sanjit Kumar and Chandan Kumar Yadav started taking her somewhere in a car to sell her. When she comes to know about this, she seizes the opportunity and escapes from the clutches of these people. He stated that from the same day she started hiding from the accused.
The accused belongs to a political party
The victim alleged that the accused also has relations with big political party leaders. When an attempt was made to talk to Vijay, the accused in this case, his mobile was switched off. In this case, Darbhanga Sadar SDPO Amit Kumar said that the victim has accused Vijay Yadav, the owner of the testing center, his brother-in-law and another person. The victim alleged that the accused were trying to threaten her in various ways.
The SDPO said that as far as abortion is concerned, further action will be taken on the basis of medical documents. The victim has alleged through the petition that Vijay Yadav was taking her for sale, which is under investigation. The SDPO said the victim was working at Vijay Yadav’s centre. This type of work has been done by baiting in the same order.
