Maharashtra BJP president Chandrashekhar Bawankule on Friday raised questions about the voter identity card. He said that Dhule and Malegaon assembly constituencies have more than 3000 voter IDs with identity card number and photo all the same. He asked that when the Election Commission has made everything digital, why is it not visible? How will the same people vote in Malegaon along with Dhule?
The BJP president said that I think this has happened in 30-40 assembly constituencies of Maharashtra. We have given a complaint to the Election Commission today. Chandrasekhar said that action should be taken against the officials who are acting like this. He said that BJP has put forward its demand. This is a big conspiracy because it is specifically the views of a certain community.
BJP is ready for Maharashtra elections
Earlier, Chandrasekhar Bawankule had said that the BJP is ready for the assembly elections to be held in a few months. He will work hard to ensure that all the candidates of the ruling coalition win the elections. He said Union Ministers Bhupendra Yadav and Ashwini Vaishnav discussed election preparations with the 30-member core group of the BJP in a meeting held on Thursday. He said that discussions will continue during the day as well.
BJP state conference will be held tomorrow
Bawankule said around 5,300 delegates will participate in the BJP state conference to be held in Pune on Sunday. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari will address the first session, while Amit Shah will address the second part of the convention. He said that BJP has started preparations for the elections. We also discussed about panchayat elections. We will do whatever it takes to win all the seats.
