Husband and wife used to steal together
In Ghaziabad, a case of a husband and wife running away with a Brezza car in the name of test drive has come to light. This incident was carried out by a couple. The report of this case was registered in Loni police station 9 days ago. The police arrested the accused husband and wife on Saturday. Police have also seized a Brezza car from both. The police have also seized the stolen bike from both. It has been reported that these two have carried out many such incidents in the past as well. Police are now checking the couple’s criminal record.
On July 25, Sanjay Tomar, a resident of Khekra area of Baghpat, filed a case against an unidentified man and woman at Loni police station of Ghaziabad commissionerate. Prosecutor Sanjay said that the man and woman had come to him to buy their old Brezza car. Those who took the Brezza car on the pretext of test drive and did not return. Based on the victim’s complaint, the police formed police teams to trace the couple who fled with the Brezza car.
After 9 days, the police arrested the accused Yatendra and a woman named Rashmi in this case. Giving information, the police said that both the accused are originally from Faridabad in Haryana. Recently he was living in Bhanot village of Bagpat. The police have also seized a Brezza vehicle from them.
After arresting both the husband and wife, when the Ghaziabad police interrogated both the accused, the accused told the police that the bike recovered from them was stolen from Delhi’s Badarpur area about a month ago. The accused couple also told the police that both of us used to run away together on the pretext of taking a test drive in the name of buying an old vehicle. There was also a woman with the accused, so both easily committed crimes together. After that, both the husband and wife used to fulfill their hobby by selling the stolen vehicle at a cheap price. Giving information, the police said that a team has also been formed to investigate the criminal history of accused Yatendra and Rashmi.
