‘Veda’ did not perform well

To be honest we are sharing the message given in this film more than the hit or flop of this film. If people want to watch light and good movies then they will definitely like this movie. I respect the film, but at the end of the day you have to face whether it’s a flop or a hit.”
“I am proud to have done this film”
John continued, “I am very proud that we have made a good film. This is the absolute best work of Nikhil and me. Often when your film doesn’t do well at the box office you definitely feel regret and feel bad. Generally, it is unexpected whether a film becomes a flop or a hit. But we have done a decent job with ‘Veda’ at every stage. Our actors have done a great job, every department from cinematography to action has done their best. People will definitely find things to talk about in the screenplay and that’s totally fine. We respect everyone’s point of view. But I am proud that we have made a good film.”
In an earlier interview, John had said that he took some aspects from each case in the story of ‘Veda’. He also said that his priority is to make his films commercially successful and has been.
