IPS Kamya Mishra posted in Darbhanga district of Bihar and popularly known as Lady Singham in Bihar has resigned from her post. His resignation has been sent to the police headquarters, but no response has been received from the headquarters so far. Kamya Mishra has given personal reasons for his resignation. According to him, his family has a big business and he wants to give time to his family too, that’s why he has taken such a big decision.

Initially, when the news of IPS Kamya Mishra’s resignation spread in the police department, everyone was treating it as a rumour. The reason behind this was Kamya Mishra’s dedication to work. Her husband is also IPS and currently posted as City SP in Muzaffarpur. Kamya, a brilliant IPS officer, said that she is the only daughter of her parents, who have a big business which is becoming difficult to manage. Meanwhile, he said that no one leaves such a good job like this.

Post in Darbhanga rural area

Kamya Mishra was posted after the post of rural SP was created in Darbhanga district of Bihar. Earlier she was posted as ASP in Patna Secretariat. Kamya Mishra cleared UPSC in her first attempt and got 172 rank. He was selected for IPS cadre. His first posting was in the Himachal Pradesh cadre. After which he was transferred to Bihar cadre.

Kamya is originally from Odisha and became an IPS officer after studying BA. Kamya has talked about resigning many times before and has been saying that she is not interested in the job.
