The children went to demand the teacher, the officer threatened after seeing the plea
Any child comes to school so that the teachers present there can show him the right direction and help him shape his future. But in a school in Chhattisgarh, not only were the children given a teacher, but when the children raised their voices against it, they were also threatened with jail. The children tearfully told the whole story to the media, after which there was a ruckus in the departments.
Children studying in the higher secondary school of Aliwada Government Higher Secondary School, Dongargarh Development Block, Rajnandgaon District, Chhattisgarh are very disturbed. These school-aged children are making rounds of government offices to find teachers. Hence the children approached the Collector and complained about the shortage of teachers in their school. The school children submitted an application to the district education officer in the name of the collector.
The DEO misbehaved with the children
The children who contacted the collector with the teacher’s demand were sent to the DEO by the collector. All the children along with their guardians reached the DEO’s office hoping that their problem would be solved there, but the DEO sir came forward with all his might. Instead of listening to the children’s complaints, he asked to run away from the office. The children alleged that the DO misbehaved with them and threatened to send them to jail. After meeting the DEO, the school children tearfully recounted their ordeal before the media.
Submitted the application to the collector
In the petition submitted to the Collector, the children have said that if the teacher system is not improved in three days, they will protest and lock the school. The district administration has assured to arrange the teachers in two days. In this regard, the DEO has said that no such discussion has taken place and the children have been persuaded not to take the law into their hands, arrangements are being made for the rest of the teachers as well. Actually, Aliwara Middle School in Dongargarh Vikhand has 11th, 12th science and arts stream classes but there is not a single teacher in the school. Children here are struggling with shortage of teachers and approached the Collector with their demands.
There are no teachers in the school
Parents who came to meet the Collector with their children say that for the last two years, higher secondary classes are running in Aliwada but there is not a single teacher in the school, due to which the children’s education is being severely affected. . High school teachers taught, but not teachers for many subjects. The Collector has assured to arrange the teachers in two days, but the DEO misspoke with the children, due to which the children are crying. He said, the school children have written in the petition that if the teachers are not arranged in three days, they will protest and lock the school.
