When the family reached the college campus, they were stunned to see the scene there. According to family members, the college administration was getting the hostel room where their daughter was staying. There was havan puja going on and prasad was being distributed to everyone. However, the college administration is still denying the ragging allegations.

Saloni’s mother Gomti Devi and maternal uncle said that if they do not get justice from here, they will go on a hunger strike in front of the Chief Minister’s residence and commit suicide there. He has high hopes from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath that his daughter Saloni will definitely get justice under his rule.

The body was found hanging

In fact, the body of Saloni Pushkar, a third year General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) student of Rampur Hussain Baksh Narainapur village in Bahraich district, was found hanging on July 27 in the hostel of the Hind Medical College located in the college hostel. in Safedabad. At first, the police considered it a simple murder, but when the family members produced an audio recording accusing Saloni’s senior and roommate Varsha Yadav of ragging, SP Dinesh Kumar Singh took the whole matter seriously.

Investigation by CCTV

CO City and City Kotwal also went to Hind Medical College and viewed the CCTV footage around the campus and hostel rooms and also started checking the call details of the two female students. The police spoke to Saloni’s family members as well as her classmates and recorded their statements, and Saloni’s mother Gomti Devi and her maternal uncle alleged that the college administration was trying their best to suppress the whole matter. They are not getting any kind of support. The mother said that Saloni had informed the college administration several times about the ragging being done by Varsha Yadav, but they never took it seriously. Otherwise his daughter would be alive today. He said that instead of helping, the college administration is cleaning the hostel rooms.

There, prasad was being distributed to the college staff and children after Havan-Pooja. Thanking SP Dinesh Kumar Singh, the mother said that it is because of him that she now sees hope for justice. Saloni’s maternal uncle said that in the photo of Saloni’s execution shown to her by the police, her legs were bent. Seeing this, it was clear that he did not commit suicide. Rather his murder has been given the form of suicide. He said that his daughter was poor and downtrodden, that’s why no one was helping her in college.
