A new initiative has been taken to curb the incidents of vehicle theft through the Ghaziabad Commissionerate Police Station Crossing. Policemen are visiting motor mechanics and car workshops and pasting orders at police stations. Incidents of vehicle theft are increasing continuously in the police station area due to which continuous police deployment is also being done. Even after doing this, the vehicle thieves could not be caught by the police. The police has made a new start by making a plan to prevent the increasing incidents of vehicle theft.
The Crossing Republic Police Station area of Ghaziabad has skyscrapers housing thousands of people. Everyone has their own different cars and motorcycles. Incidents of theft are constantly increasing here. These incidents are becoming a headache for the police. Police receive information about vehicle thefts via wireless. After a thorough investigation by the police, they found that the thieves park the stolen vehicles in the parking lot and go to the mechanic in the name of service-repairing.
When the police count was over, the thieves would take the stolen car back from the mechanic and service center and run away. Now the Crossing Police Station has come up with a new way to curb vehicle thieves. Now the police is distributing slips to all mechanics and workshop owners. In which they are asked to deposit RC or any identity card before getting any vehicle serviced or parked in their place.
In such a situation, the police believe that this will reduce the number of vehicle thefts. However, the police also said that when they went to the mechanics and workshop owners, many of them said that some people were not giving identity cards or RCs. In this regard, the police instructed him that if such a case comes to light, he should immediately inform the police. The police has distributed pamphlets at all motor mechanics and service centers in the police station area. People running mechanics and service centers say that a separate register will have to be created for them in which the records will be kept. It will not be possible to keep these records for long as the files will become too thick.
