250 trainee soldiers of the Bihar Special Armed Police stationed at Bhimnagar, adjacent to the Indo-Nepal border in Bihar’s Supaul, have fallen victim to food poisoning. All the sick jawans are being treated at Virpur Sub-Divisional Hospital. Let us tell you that these jawans came for training in the 12th and 15th battalions of Bihar Special Armed Police.
It is being told that all these trainee soldiers had lunch on Sunday afternoon. From late evening everyone’s health suddenly started deteriorating. Soldiers are suffering from vomiting and diarrhoea. Around 250 soldiers have reached Sub-Divisional Hospital Virpur by 11 am.
Training to go to 400 PSI
According to information, around 400 PSI jawans from all districts of Bihar are undergoing training at Virpur, Supaul. As soon as the information about the incident was received, there was a rush in the administrative department. Veerpur SDM Neeraj Kumar, Sub-Divisional Police Officer and all senior officials are present at the hospital.
The soldiers protested the bad food
The soldiers said that during the continuous training, the food was spoiling. He was also being constantly opposed by the soldiers. On Sunday, after finally having a meal, the health of the soldiers in training began to deteriorate. Meanwhile, when the soldiers reached there, they found a bundle of poison in the place where the food was being prepared. The health of the soldiers continues to deteriorate.
