The Eknath Shinde government of Maharashtra announced a scheme to allow senior citizens to visit religious places during the monsoon session. The announcement of this scheme is now being discussed a lot. After the advertisement was published, it was revealed that the senior citizens featured in the advertisement have been missing for the past three years. When a photo of a man who had been missing from home for nearly three years appeared in an ad, even the family was taken aback.

Surekha Tambe, daughter-in-law of the missing old man, while talking to TV9, said that 68-year-old Vishnu Tambe of Varude village in Shirur taluk has been missing for the past three years. Her father-in-law has not come home for the past three years, we have not registered any complaint in the police station, but now Surekha Tambe said she is happy to see the photo on the advertisement.

The elderly man has been missing since January 14, 2021. Once his photo was published in a newspaper while distributing blankets in Corona. Tamba was later reported to be alive, but has not been traced since.

A wave of happiness among the villagers seeing the picture

Now after seeing Tamba’s photo on the Chief Minister’s announcement, happiness is being seen on the faces of all the people of the village. Villagers expressed happiness, but opposition leader Vijay Vadettiwar criticized the government.

He said that the government has started a scheme to give darshan of God to senior citizens. Chief Minister promotes the scheme. If they have worked you should advertise well. But one should be careful in lying.

The news that the Chief Minister has used the photo of senior citizen Tambe, who went missing three years ago, in the advertisement of the Devdarshan scheme is raising many questions. How much pain will the Tebe family suffer from this announcement?

Vijay Vadettiwar attacked the government

Vijay Vadettiwar said that people’s money is wasted on government advertisements and unethical use of people’s photos while doing so is a big crime.

He said that downloading a person’s pictures from the internet and social media and using them in advertisements without permission is a serious matter. Just as the grand coalition plan is hollow, so is the advertisement.

Vadettiwar also said that the Chief Minister should abandon the ‘Gujarat model’ of spreading propaganda through fake photos without doing any work.
