In Meerut, A Tea Shopkeeper Was Stabbed To Death Because He Refused To Give Polythene.

After the murder, there was an uproar in the family

A youth running a tea shop in Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut district was hacked to death with a knife on Sunday. As many as six youths who came to the shop demanded empty polythene from the youth, but the youth refused to give the polythene. The angry young man attacked him. First they beat him badly, then they took out a knife and brutally attacked him, due to which the youth died on the spot. On receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and took possession of the body of the youth and sent it for postmortem. Police are looking for the accused youth.

The incident took place in the city of Mwana. A young man named Rohit was running a tea shop here on Parikshitgarh Road. Last Sunday afternoon, four youths riding two bikes came to Rohit’s shop. The youth asked Rohit for an empty polythene, but he refused to give it. This made the young man very angry and a fight started between them. Meanwhile, the fight escalated to such an extent that the four enraged youths attacked Rohit with a knife and stabbed him several times on the neck, causing Rohit to fall to the ground. Seeing the serious condition of Rohit, the attackers left their bike and fled from the spot.

Police arrested 4 people

The bystanders rushed the injured Rohit to the hospital, where Rohit was referred to Meerut due to the seriousness of the situation, but by then he had died. Enraged by Rohit’s murder, the family members and local people reached the police station and created ruckus. The family members said that the attackers should be identified and arrested at the earliest. Police said that one of the attackers was arrested on Sunday itself. The rest of the search was on. On Monday i.e. today, the police arrested three more attackers in the encounter.
