In Uttarakhand’s Dehradun, the joy of the Rakhi festival turned into mourning. A five-year-old child was abducted here. The incident took place in Tok village Kota of Gutheratha Gram Panchayat of Rikhnikhal Development Block in Uttarakhand. An innocent child came to his grandmother’s house to celebrate Raksha Bandhan. Her mother also came with the child. The police are yet to find the child’s body. The hen took the child from the courtyard of the house.
Guldar picked up Aditya’s son Devendra Singh, a five-year-old boy who had come to his grandmother’s house on the festival of Rakshabandhan, from the courtyard of the house. There was confusion in the area after the incident. The woman came to her grandmother’s house with her five-year-old Aditya. The Rakhi festival was celebrated with great pomp throughout the day, but as the evening drew in, all the joy turned to mourning.
The child was playing in the yard
Hundreds of nearby villagers, including Guterath, are searching the forest and the entire area for the child, while the family members cry in pitiful condition. As soon as the information was received, the police and administration people reached the village and the search is on for the child. According to reports, around 7 pm, the child was playing in the courtyard when the chickens, sitting in ambush, attacked him and took him to the bushes. After this panic spread among the villagers and the child was searched everywhere, but he was nowhere to be found. The villagers informed Lansdowne Tehsildar Shalini Maurya about the incident. Apart from this, Santhosh Kumar, in-charge of Rikhnikhal police station, also left for the spot. Soon hundreds of people around started searching for the child.
Villagers had complained earlier too
Heartbreakingly, the Ridhanikhal police found one of the child’s legs in the bushes one and a half kilometers away from the house, from which it is estimated that there is little hope of the innocent child’s survival. . The search for the child is on. On Tuesday morning, the child was to return to Uneri village with her mother. Villagers say that a boulevard was visible near the village for a long time. Even half an hour before the incident on Monday, the villagers returning to the village saw Guldar on the road. This is the first incident of Guldar attack in Deviokhal and Gutheratha area. Currently, police and villagers are searching for the girl.
