Internet Shut Down, Police And Drones At Every Corner…Alert In Nooh, Haryana For Brajmandal Yatra

The Brajmandal Yatra in Haryana’s Nooh will begin today at 10 am from the ancient Naleswar Shiva temple in the Aravalli valley. Here the devotees will bathe Lord Naleshwar with Ganga water brought from Haridwar and then start the journey. The Brajmandal Yatra will start from Naleshwar Shiva Temple and will reach Radha Krishna Temple at Singar Village in Punaha at 5 pm via Ghir Mandir in Ferozepur Zirka and the Brajmandal Yatra has been given conditional approval with tight security there.

In view of the violence that took place during the Braj Mandal Yatra last year, the administration has made strict security arrangements this time. Security forces were deployed at every nook and cranny on the Yatra route. Security is also being monitored from the sky. Keeping in view the security of Brajmandal Yatra, the Noah administration has stopped the internet service for 24 hours. The ban will continue till 6 pm today. Along with this, liquor stores will also be closed till the Yatra is completed today.

Noah SP Vijay Pratap said that police teams are ready and tight security arrangements have been made. Video surveillance has been enhanced by drones. Dog squads and mounted armed police have also been deployed.

What did the Haryana government say in its order?

After the violence during the event last year, misinformation and rumors were spread through various social media platforms like WhatsApp, Facebook and Twitter. Keeping this in mind, this time the administration is taking bold steps. This is the reason why internet was banned a day before the Yatra. However, there is no disruption in mobile calling. The administration clearly says that the Braj Mandal Yatra will not affect the commercial or financial interests and basic domestic needs of the people in the state.

An order issued by the Haryana government said, ‘There is a possibility of tension, agitation, damage to public and private property and disruption of public peace in Nooh district.’ The administration says that misinformation and rumors can be spread through various social media platforms like WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter and steps have been taken to prevent its spread.

All India Imam Association welcomed the Yatra

Meanwhile, Chief Imam of All India Imam Organization Umar Ahmed Ilyasi has reached Nooh. He talked about meeting the people and welcoming the procession of the Braj Mandal. The chief imam also held a meeting with the people of the procession committee. He has said that we should be identified as Indians.
