Intruder Review: The Digital World And The Web Of Espionage, Intruder Is A Very Important Film

A country’s victory does not depend on how big its army is, but how capable its spies are. Chanakya, the author of Arthashastra, believed that women, money, power and the desire to take revenge on someone, these four things can be useful in breaking someone and knowing their secrets. If he were alive today, he might have added a fifth item to the list and that would have been our telephone. Perhaps that is why every intelligence agency in the world has been using phone tapping as a weapon for years. We have seen this in many movies. However, no film based solely on phone tapping has ever been made. Vineet Kumar Singh, Akshay Oberoi and Urvashi Rautela’s film ‘Ghuspathiya’ also filled this gap.

Although I was not particularly interested in watching Urvashi Rautela’s film, then I saw the names of Vineet Kumar Singh and Akshay Oberoi. If someone dares to make a film with two talented actors and release it in theatres, I believe we should at least give the film a chance and if we like it, we should praise it a little more. I liked the movie.

story

However Ravi (Vineet Kumar Singh) was an honest officer. But when he is assigned the task of phone tapping, his mouth also gets greedy. By tapping people’s phones, he starts using them to blackmail them and slowly starts enjoying this job. But then comes a twist in the story. You have to go to the theater and watch the movie ‘Ghaspathia’ to know what this twist is all about.

Know how the film is

This movie is amazing. Although there is no big star in this film, still everyone from the actors to the director has tried very sincerely to make a good film. The subject of ‘Ghuspathia’ is also strange and hence you will not get bored watching it.

Directing and writing

Susie Ganesan is the director of ‘Ghaspathiya’. Tamil superstar Record This is the second Hindi film with Susi Ganesan. He made ‘Shortcut Romeo’ with Neil Nitin Mukesh and Ameesha Patel 9 years ago. Now after a long break, Susi Ganesh has made ‘Ghuspathiya’. Watching the film it can be said that his vision is very clear and from the beginning till the end he keeps us connected with his film.

There is a scene in the film where the director has tried to show animals disguised as people. There we see the hero sitting on a bike waiting for a signal and when he looks to his right, instead of a human, he sees the faces of a lion, a wolf and a dog playing in the background. The score is also amazing. There are many such scenes, where the director has tried to use his brain to present something ‘out of the box’ to us and the actors have also fully supported him in this endeavour.

Acting

Vineet Kumar Singh is known for his acting. From ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ to ‘Saand Ki Aankh’ and ‘Muckebaaz’, he has shown his acting skills in many films. Akshay Oberoi has also proved through both OTT and films that he is an amazing actor despite not being a star. Both have done full justice to Susi Ganesan’s vision. Urvashi Rautela is also healthy.

To see or not to see

Well, there are many reasons not to watch this movie. The film neither has a big star nor great cinematography. The makers haven’t spent much on VFX either. Today watching movies in theaters has become very expensive and so people go to theaters to watch movies only because of the brand value. That brand value is missing in this film.

However, I think the film ‘Ghuspathiya’ deserves four stars for its subject matter. Today, in the age of internet, it has become very easy to intrude into the lives of others through phones and social media accounts and yet this obsession is increasing day by day. But just as hunger does not digest too much food, too much obsession with the digital world is also harming people and here is an attempt to make a good film by exposing all these things and this film can definitely be given an opportunity to try.
