Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi (PTI)
At an election rally in Narayangarh in Haryana’s Ambala district, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi hit out at the Modi government. He said that ‘Agnveer Yojana’ is a new way to steal the pension of soldiers of the country. Agniveer Yojana has taken the pension out of the soldiers’ pockets and this money is going into Adani’s pocket. He further said that an Israeli company manufactures weapons and the label appears to be Adani’s.
Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi said, “The fields have been exhausted. Farmers do not get fair price for their produce. Then you guys go to the army. If you feel that there is no work here, join the army. There will stand on the border. There is a fire of patriotism and we will stand there lighting it. Then Modi says that we will take the money from your pocket from there.
New way to steal pension: Rahul
He said, “This is not an Agniveer scheme. Don’t be under any misunderstanding. This is a new way to steal pension of soldiers. This is a simple matter. A common soldier will be given pension for his whole life. But those who have been named Agniveer will not get pension. That means the money has been stolen from his pocket. Where did this money go?”
Attacking the government, he said, “This money went into Adani’s pocket. You go to their website and look at Adani Defence. It is an Israeli company, an American company. He has nothing to do with these companies. An Israeli company that manufactures weapons is labeled Adani’s company. If the cartridge is manufactured then it has the Adani label on it. Then the country’s army buys these weapons from Adani. Margin Adani makes. A political party gets half of it. goes to Modi’s marketing.”
Will bring change from Haryana: Rahul Gandhi
Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi said, “The Haryana government is the first step. If the Haryana government comes, there will be a change here. But it is important for me to know how much money goes into the pockets of the poor and how much money comes out of their pockets when the government comes in Delhi and I am not going to give it up. He runs the country wherever he gets an opportunity. “They run the country with their blood and sweat, I will check their accounts to see where their money is.” He further said that Congress will form the government in Haryana and bring change.
