Kuldeep, a student, committed suicide in Kanpur.
A youth preparing for UPSC in Kanpur’s Rawatpur committed suicide by consuming poison. The young man was preparing for UPSC by staying in a hostel in Rawatpur for the last one and a half years. He cleared the prelims and mains as well, but was very upset as his name did not appear in the final list. For this reason, the young man committed suicide by drinking poison. The police reached the spot and took possession of the dead body and sent it for postmortem.

When his condition worsened, his friends rushed him to a private hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead during treatment. The police reached the spot and informed the family about the incident. Friends of the youth said that Kuldeep Solanki (29), a resident of Siddhapura in Kasganj’s Bhujpura police station area, had consumed the poisonous substance at the Prince Boys Hostel in Tulsi Vihar.

On getting information about this, they took him to a nearby hospital, where the doctor declared Kuldeep brought dead. After the incident, the deceased’s younger brother Sandeep Solanki said that his father Vijay Pal Singh had died long ago. Mother Vimala Devi is at home. Regarding brother Kuldeep, Sandeep said that Kuldeep was preparing for UPSC while staying in Rawatpur for one and a half years. He also cleared pre and mains, but when the final list came, his name was not there, which left him very disappointed.

After the final list came, he started to feel a lot of stress. He also spoke less to his family members, while after the meeting with the family the family members convinced him several times that he would surely pass the next exam. The brother of the deceased, Sandeep, said that Kuldeep got a job worth Rs 25 lakh in 2017 after completing his BTech from Lucknow, but he left it.

After this he got several job offers from abroad, but he told his family that he wanted to quit all jobs and prepare for UPSC and the family members also agreed, but depressed, Kuldeep now committed suicide by drinking poison.
