On August 5, the third Monday of Sawan, a Kanwariya was killed in a tragic accident while three others were injured in Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh. This Kavandia was going to perform Jalabhisheka of Lord Shiva when a speeding car ran over him. In this accident, a teenage Kanwariya died on the spot while three Kanwariyas were seriously injured. After first aid, his condition was found to be critical and he was referred to Lucknow Trauma Center.
The incident took place in Mahmudabad Kotwali area. It is being told that the Kanwariyas of Samanapur village were going to perform Jalabhishesh of the Lord at the famous Mahadev geographical pilgrimage temple in neighboring district Barabanki late last night. Around 1:00 pm on Sunday, when a group of virgins reached in front of Jerampur village, a Scorpio car coming at full speed from the front ran over the virgins. In the accident, 17-year-old Neha, who was carrying water, died on the spot, while 14-year-old Arun, 22-year-old Rajini and 16-year-old Sajni were seriously injured.
The condition of two people injured in the accident is critical
As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and admitted all the injured to CHC Mehmoodabad, where after first aid, doctors referred the two Kanwarias to the Lucknow Trauma Center after seeing the critical condition. Also, the body of the girl was sent for postmortem. Enraged by this incident, other Kavadis created a ruckus at the place. After which police from several police stations reached the spot and brought the situation under control.

After the accident, the police chased the Scorpio car that fled from the spot and caught it about 10 kilometers away near Patepur village and brought the car to the police station. -The ordination is registered in the name of Santosh Singh.
Police seized the vehicle
Informing about the matter, ASP Praveen Ranjan Singh said that a teenage girl has died in this accident, while three injured people are being treated at a trauma center. Necessary legal action has been taken after taking possession of the car that caused the accident. He says that after receiving the complaint, a case will be registered and action will be taken.
However, this is not the first time that Kanwaria has died in a road accident. There have been many such accidents in the past too, in which Kanwariyas have lost their lives after being hit by vehicles. Due to which people are getting angry.
