Aamir Khan’s Missing Women
On the initiative of Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud, the Supreme Court’s Communications Division has decided to screen ‘Missing Ladies’. This screening will be done for all judges of the Supreme Court, their associates and all members present in the registry. Aamir Khan is also going to attend this special screening. ‘Lapata Ladies’ is produced by Aamir. The director of the film Kiran Rao is also going to attend this special screening.
‘Missing Ladies’ is to be screened at the Administrative Building complex of the Court Auditorium. This picture will be shown tomorrow i.e. 9th August. The screening is a part of CJI’s gender sensitization programme. The idea of screening ‘Missing Ladies’ came from DY Chandrachud’s wife Kalpana Das.
Earnings of ‘Missing Ladies’
The film was released in theaters on March 1. The film collected around Rs 27.06 crore worldwide. The simple story of this film won the hearts of the audience. After theatres, the film’s success has remained intact on OTT as well. After a rave in theaters, it was released on Netflix on April 26.
