Syed Afshan Ali Chishti, seat of the throne of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Dargah, said that we will pray for PM Modi’s long life on his birthday. Giving information, he said that 4 thousand kg of vegetarian langar will be distributed in Dargah Sharif on the occasion of PM’s birthday. During this period langar service will be provided to religious places of the country, Gurus and also poor people around us.

Let us tell you that people from all religions and communities come to the shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. The Dargah in Ajmer is considered to be the largest religious site of Muslims in India. Meanwhile, preparations are going on in full swing at the shrine of PM Modi’s birthday. PM Modi’s birthday will be celebrated on September 17. A Langar will be made in the Mughal Shahi Akbari Deg in the Dargah. The langar prepared in this spot is very special for the pilgrims. This will be the first time that the PM’s birthday will be celebrated on such a grand scale in the dargah.
A 550-year-old tradition of vegetarian langar
Syed Afshan Chishti said that the tradition of vegetarian langar is 550 years old. He said that vegetarian langar is made in this spot. He also said that langar will be distributed among the pilgrims. Langar will also be sent to Sakh settlements. Giving information, he said that vegetarian langar is always prepared in the dargah. Onion is also not used in this langar.
