Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader and Cabinet Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj has targeted Lt Governor of Delhi Vinay Kumar Saxena in a press conference. He said that the debate is going to start soon that what is the reason for the increasing pollution in Delhi and who is responsible for it? He said that the biggest reason for increasing pollution in Delhi and the country is the cruel treatment of nature. For this he targeted LG.
Speaking to reporters, Saurabh Bhardwaj said that for the last few days, the case of illegal felling of 1100 trees is going on in the ridge area of Satbari area of Delhi. He said that not only in Delhi but across the country these days lakhs of trees are being cut in different states. Meanwhile, he targeted the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi. He alleged that the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Shri Vinay Saxena himself had illegally cut down 1100 trees in the capital.

He claimed that evidence of 1100 trees illegally felled in the Satbari Ridge area has come to light and the BJP has been exposed along with the Lt. Governor. He claimed that on February 3, 2024, the Lt. Governor visited the Satbari Ridge area and ordered that all trees in the way of road widening should be cut down.
Saurabh Bhardwaj challenged the LG for a debate
After this, Cabinet Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj challenged Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinay Saxena to discuss the issue in an open forum. He said that I challenge the Lt. Governor to have an open discussion on this issue in front of the public. Let the Lieutenant Governor decide the place, time and date, I am ready to discuss the issue with him in front of the public. Along with this, Saurabh Bhardwaj said that Lt. Governor Vinay Saxena has no right to continue in his post.
