A building collapsed in Barsana

A building collapsed in Barsana, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. Fortunately, there were no injuries or fatalities in the accident. According to locals, the house was dilapidated. No one lived here. It was always closed. Crowds of people gathered at the scene following the accident. Debris is being removed.

The house where the accident took place was built on the side of the road leading to the Radha Rani temple in Barsa. Locals say that millions of devotees visit Krishna’s city of Mathura every day, where they also have darshan of their idol Lord Krishna and Queen Radha. Devotees also come to Barsana. There was this dilapidated building on this road. But the municipality continued to ignore it. By the grace of Radha Rani, no devotees were present when the house collapsed.

No loss of life or property

A youth from Barsana said that the birth anniversary of Radha Rani will be celebrated on September 11. Preparations for this are going on in full swing. Devotees have started coming in large numbers on the occasion of the birth anniversary. In such a situation, such an accident near Radha Rani Mandir Marg also shows negligence of the corporation, as no official has paid attention to this dilapidated building on Radha Rani Mandir Marg.

The road was blocked due to falling debris

The accident took place on Monday late evening. A building collapsed on the road leading to the Radha Rani temple near Rangili Kunj in Barsana. The road is blocked by building debris. In such a situation, devotees are going to Radha Rani temple by other route. The house was already bent. According to locals, a complaint was also made to the administration, but still no one paid heed.

Regarding this accident, Mathura DM Shailendra Kumar Singh said that a meeting was held four days ago. The concerned officer was asked to give notice to dilapidated houses.
