Meerut: Principal Orders Meat For Rs 100, Feeds Disabled Child In School, Suspended Over Ruckus

A case of force-feeding meat to a disabled child has come to light in a government school in Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut. When the disabled child informed the family, there was an uproar. The family reached the police station with the baby girl. As soon as the news came, leaders of Hindu organizations also reached the police station in protest. Seeing the commotion increasing, the police took the accused principal into custody. A complaint was also made to the officials of the education department, after which they were suspended and a departmental inquiry was ordered.

A disabled student studying in a primary school in the district told his family about being force-fed meat by the principal. After receiving the complaint, the district primary education officer suspended the principal. The principal has called this matter wrong. A disabled student who accused the principal of feeding him meat cannot speak. He gestured to feed the meat. After receiving the complaint, the district primary education officer has suspended the principal.

Ordered meat for 100 rupees

The case is of Vaidyawada School in Meerut. A student studying here alleges that she and her disabled brother come to the school to study. Mid-day meal is prepared for the students in the afternoon. The student said that potato and soya bean vegetable was prepared for mid-day meal. When he ate it, he didn’t like it. Due to which he ate one roti and his crippled brother ate two roti. The student alleged that when he did not like vegetables, Principal Mohammad Iqbal asked him to bring meat after giving him Rs 100.

The younger brother was fed meat

The student told the police that when he brought the meat, the principal asked him to eat it. The student refused to eat it. He alleged that when the principal asked his brother to eat meat, he also refused to eat it. But they fed his brother meat. When he returned home, his younger brother was sleeping under the fan with his face covered. When his family asked, he told them about feeding them meat. After listening to the child, he first reached the school with the child. They created a ruckus there. Then he reached the police station with the girl child. Based on the girl’s complaint, the police have detained the accused principal.
