The menace of wolves in Uttar Pradesh has increased to such an extent that any wild animal seen is considered a wolf. One such case came to light from Mirzapur district, where villagers mistook a hyena for a wolf and created a ruckus, after which the hyena went and hid in a nearby Kutch house. In the whole matter, the officials of the forest department say that the hyena is not a violent animal.

For this reason people are afraid of wolves. The latest case is from Kuhunki village in Sant Nagar police station area of ​​Mirzapur district. Here, when a hyena came out of the forest and entered the village, the villagers mistook it for a wolf and started shouting. After this, Hyena ran here and there in the village to save her life and entered a mud house.

A hyena hiding in a mud house

As soon as the hyena enters Kutch’s house, the villagers surround it, mistaking it for a wolf. During this time, the villagers thought of attacking the hyena with sticks, mistaking it for a wolf. After several hours of vigil, the villagers informed the forest department officials about the wild animals entering the village. As soon as the incident was reported, the forest department officials reached the spot. At the same time, the team that reached the spot denied the claim of wolf presence and said that Haina was inside the house.

It is being told that Basant Kol, who lives outside the village, has built a mud house of his own. At around 1 pm on Thursday afternoon, Haina broke into Kutch’s house. At the same time, on the whole incident, the villagers say that the hyena should be caught in a cage and taken out of the village. The forest department team that reached the spot is busy trying to catch the hyena.

Ranger KK Singh, who arrived with the forest department team, is also engaged in rescue work. In the whole matter DFO Arvind Raj Mishra said that there is no wolf inside the house, but there are hyenas. Arvind Raj Mishra said that cages have been ordered from the headquarters. Soon the hyena will be rescued and released in a safe place.
