Moradabad: Attack On Team That Went To Stop Illegal Mining, SDM Trying To Escape

The police seized the goods of the mining mafia.

In Uttar Pradesh’s Moradabad district, a police team arriving with the SDM, Tehsildar and Mines Department was attacked by mining mafias involved in illegal mining. In fact the administration team received information that some unknown people were mining on Dhela river in Bhojpur police station area. As soon as the information was received, a team was formed immediately. Everyone was shocked to see this as the team raided the mining people.

The mining mafia also thought of fighting the police and the administration and tried to attack them, but in the meantime their vehicle got stuck in the field. The mining mafia fled from the spot after the vehicle got stuck in the field. Police seized vehicles used in mining from the spot. Also a complaint was registered in Bhojpur police station by the accountant. Based on the accountant’s complaint, the police registered a case against the mining mafia.

Illegal mining is taking place in Dhela river

The police officer said that soon the accused will be arrested and sent to jail. In the complaint lodged at the police station, Suresh Kumar, an accountant from Dharampur, said that there was information about illegal mining in the Dhela river, which the team reached. The team included SDM, Tehsildar, Mining Officer and Bhojpur Police team. Looking down on themselves by the mining mafia, the team was attacked to protect themselves. Considering the seriousness of this matter, the police have registered a case and started investigation.

The police registered an FIR against the accused

SP Dehat Kunwar Akash Singh said that the mining accused tried to drive a tractor on the team. The accused also destroyed the sugarcane crop. After this the accused ran away from there. Police seized two tractors and a Hydra from the spot. An FIR has been registered in Bhojpur police station in this matter. Several teams have been formed by the police to nab the accused, who are conducting continuous raids.
