MP: A Man Who Went To Graze Goats In The Forest Was Tied And Killed By Thieves; Police Joined The Investigation

In Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur, the body of a young man who had gone to graze goats was found with his hands and feet tied with ropes in a dense forest adjacent to Bagdari Fall. After which a sensation was spread in the area. Goats are also missing from the spot and the youth’s hands and feet were found tied with ropes used for tying goats. It is suspected that the miscreants killed the youth after stealing the goats. On receiving the information, the local police along with FSL and dog squad team reached the spot and are investigating the entire incident. Now the dead body has been handed over to the family after the PM.

The deceased has been identified as 55-year-old Raghunath Marvi, a resident of Hardua village in Patan police station area of ​​Jabalpur. He went to graze his goats in Bagderi forests on Friday. When Raghunath did not return home till late night, his family started searching. After searching nearby, the family members went to explore the forest on Saturday morning. Raghunath’s dead body was found near a tree in the forest.

The body’s hands and feet were tied with ropes, which indicated that it had been murdered. This incident created an atmosphere of fear in the village and surrounding areas. According to family members, after Raghunath’s murder, his goats also went missing, due to which they suspect goat thieves.

Police collected evidence

On coming to know about the incident, Patan police immediately reached the spot and informed the higher officials. After this FSL (Forensic Science Lab) and Dog Squad team also reached the spot. The police and forensic team searched the entire area and tried to gather clues. Police officials say that the reasons for the murder are being investigated and the accused will be nabbed soon.

Police busy tracking goat thieves

Family members say that Raghunath had no enmity with anyone. The family believes that people involved in goat theft killed him. Goats have been stolen from forests many times before and many people have been arrested for stealing goats. Additional SP Suryakant Sharma says that a team of Patan police is investigating. Earlier, the police is also checking the horoscopes of those arrested on the charge of goat theft. How many thieves are still in jail and how many are out are all being investigated. The accused will be arrested soon.
