On Tuesday, a Dalit youth’s bullet hit a police vehicle in the Khajuraho Police Station area of Chhatarpur district. Seeing this, the policemen sitting in the car got angry and forcibly took the Dalit youth from the house and took him to the police station. It is alleged that the policemen here stripped her naked and beat her badly. When the youth, who was injured by the police, reached home, he tried to commit suicide. However, when the matter reached the higher police officers, they spoke of taking action against the accused policemen.
The incident took place in ward number 7 of Khajuraho police station area, where Rohit, who works as a sweeper in the municipal council, had difficulty removing a bullet from the side of a police vehicle. The victim, Rohit, said that a police car from Khajuraho police station was standing near his house on Tuesday morning. As he passed by the car, the police forced him into their car. Seeing this, his family members came and pleaded with the police to release him.

On that the policemen said that he shot our car. A lesson has to be taught. After saying this, the policemen put him in their car and took him to the police station. Rohit alleged that the policemen brutally beat him up after taking him to the police station. Due to beating by the police, Rohit’s body showed serious injury marks at various places.

According to Rohit’s brother, as soon as the police released Rohit, Rohit came home and locked himself in the room. Meanwhile, he also tried to commit suicide by hanging himself. Neither a complaint nor an FIR has been registered against his brother. His only fault was that he shot from the side of the police car.
The SP accepted the mistake of the policemen
Rohit’s brother said that the police saying that there was an encounter is wrong. Rohit’s bullet did not hit the police car anywhere. SP Agam Jain has accepted the mistake of two policemen in this case. After the investigation, SDOP Khajuraho has said that strict action will be taken against the policemen.
