On receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and pulled the woman out of the well along with the villagers, but the children could not be saved. The woman’s name is Sugna Bai and she is 40 years old. According to the information, the woman has a lot of fights with her husband. The woman was very troubled by her husband’s addiction to alcohol.

The woman’s husband works to sell blankets. He used to beat women every day. The woman had an argument with her husband, after which the woman jumped into the well with her children. Now the woman has been fully rescued. The woman is traumatized by the death of her children. The police have taken the bodies of the children into their possession and sent them for postmortem and the matter is being investigated. Garoth ASP Hemalta Kuril said that before the incident, the woman had stayed overnight in the Anganwadi building on Saturday and committed the incident after reaching the well on Sunday morning. Now the woman has been admitted to the hospital and the Garoth police station is investigating the matter.
