A case of a senior official of Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited (BHEL) getting caught in a honey trap in Bhopal has come to light. The honey trap gang introduced the officer to two women at the hotel. After this, other members of the gang made an obscene video of the officer with the woman. Lakhs of rupees were demanded from the officer by threatening to make this video viral on social media.
Honeytrap gang members were constantly demanding money from the BHEL officer. The accused had demanded approximately Rs 2.5 lakh twice. However, he kept asking for more money. Tired of demanding money, the officer filed a case against the accused at Govindpura police station. The police have taken the accused into custody and started interrogation.
The accused is a scrap contractor
According to the police, the victim officer is a resident of Govindpura area. The accused who has been arrested is a resident of Saket Nagar. Accused takes contract of scrap in BHEL and PWD. Both the victim and the accused already know each other.
Video made with intelligence camera
According to the police, after taking the officer into confidence, the accused arranged a hotel room. The women were sent to the officer in the hotel itself. An indecent video of the officer was recorded from the intelligence camera installed in the room. A few days later, another woman was sent to the officer, calling her Russian. This time also the accused had made an obscene video of the officer with the woman. After making the video, he started threatening the officer to make the video viral. When the officer refused, he demanded money.
The troubled officer complained to the police
The accused extorted money from the officer several times and when the officer got angry with the accused, he narrated the entire incident to the police. Based on the officer’s complaint, the police started efforts to nab the accused. The police have arrested an accused in this case and are interrogating him.
Govindpura police have registered a case against four accused under Section 308/06, 142, 351/4, 3/5 of BNS. Police are busy looking for the Russian girl and other accused.
