Condition of cows in cowshed

Cow politics has been going on in Madhya Pradesh for a long time. This time the Madhya Pradesh government has tripled the savings for cattle protection. However, let alone the entire state, even in the capital Bhopal, the condition of cattle is not good. Many cows are dying here and there is no one to take care of them. Know the real condition of cattle in the state in TV9’s exclusive report.

This time in the budget of Madhya Pradesh, the Mohan government has made a provision of 252 crore rupees for the protection of cattle. There is a lot of politics going on in the state on the issue of cows. In its manifesto, the Congress had promised to build one thousand gaushalas. The reality of this issue is only related to the vote bank. But, despite all this, the condition of cows in the state is pathetic. Cows lie dead in shelters in Bhopal. Some are just breathing. Some are forced to suffer without treatment.

The condition of the cows is becoming pathetic

Such condition of cows in shelters has become a daily occurrence. When TV9 Bharatvarsh spoke to the staff and questioned whether the cows were getting proper treatment, they said they did not have proper medicines to treat them. The state government has tripled the budget for the welfare of cows, but the cows do not even get enough medicine. The fee for cow protection has been increased from Rs 20 to Rs 40.

What did the Minister of Animal Husbandry say?

When the state animal husbandry minister Lakhan Patel was spoken to in this matter, he said that this is not a matter of his department. This is the responsibility of the municipality. The staff there has been reduced. They say they provide doctors only for cow shelters. Congress is attacking the state government in this matter. Congress regional spokesperson Abhinav Barolia has said that everything is being done only on paper for cows. The condition of the cows is so pathetic that a case of homicide should be registered.

How much is the budget for whom?

In Madhya Pradesh, the Mohan government has budgeted a total of Rs 590 crore for cattle rearers and cowsheds, while a budget of Rs 150 crore has been budgeted for promoting milk producers. Now a separate budget of Rs 250 crore has been kept for cow shelters. However, the situation is not improving.
