However, there is no sign of stopping the killing of women on charges of witchcraft in the state. Meanwhile, a 47-year-old woman, Munni Devi, a resident of Bhasanda village near Bedo police station in Jharkhand capital Ranchi, was brutally murdered inside her house.
The accused systematically broke the door of his house and entered. As many as 5 accused including Raju Uran and Dhapa Uran, residents of the same village, brutally beat Munni. Meanwhile, her husband Mangra Uran, who came to save the woman Munni Devi, was also beaten and injured by the accused. Regarding the incident, Sumit Uran, son of the deceased Munni, has registered a case against Bhasanda village residents Dhapa Uran, Mangal Uran, Somra Uran, Raju Uran and Bablu Uran in Bedo police station.
The accused entered the house by force
After the murder incident, all the accused have left the house and absconded, to arrest whom the police are conducting continuous raids. According to information received, Budhan Orain, wife of his uncle Sukra Orain, died suddenly recently. After this, the family suspected that Munni had killed Budhan by performing black magic. Based on the same allegation, late on Monday night, five people living in the same village, armed with sticks and other deadly weapons, forcibly entered the woman’s house and brutally attacked the woman when Munni was sleeping on her bed due to illness. They beat him. Meanwhile, her husband Mangra, who came to save her, was also beaten and injured and all ran away from there.
The police are investigating the case
Sumit, son of Munni, the woman who was killed on charges of witchcraft, has lodged an FIR against the five accused. Police have launched a raid to nab the accused. Along with this, the police of Bedo police station have taken the dead body of the deceased woman Munni into their possession and handed it over to the family after postmortem. The murder of a woman by entering the house has created a sensation in the village. Currently, the police is looking for the accused and the matter is being investigated in every way.
