A heartbreaking incident has come to light in Rasuiya village under Katangi police station area of Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur district, where a farmer couple has allegedly committed suicide. The incident came to light on Monday when the son found the dead bodies of his parents hanging in a hut built in the field. The police got the information and conducted a panchnama and handed over the body to the family members after conducting a post-mortem. The police have started an investigation into the whole matter.
Confirming the matter, SDOP Lokesh Dabar said that the deceased couple has been identified as 55-year-old Dulichand Chaudhary and his wife Elaichi Bai, 50. On Sunday they both went to work in their fields, but when they did not return home till night, their son became anxious and went in search of them. After searching the neighborhood, the son reached the farm without finding them anywhere. The son saw that both the parents were hanging with the help of iron rods in the hut. The Katangi Police Station reached the spot as soon as the information about the incident was received. It is not yet clear why the couple took this step. The police are investigating the case from various angles.

The couple’s son told the police that there was no dispute in the family. There was no financial problem of any kind.
