The Oklahoma Sooners are off to a 2-0 start in 2024 and welcoming a Tulane Green Wave team to town that is a few plays away from being 2-0 themselves after nearly pulling off the upset over the Kansas State Wildcats.
Tulane brings in an explosive offense led by Tulane true freshman quarterback Darian Mensah and standout running back Makhi Hughes. A familiar face returns to Norman for the second straight week when Mario Williams returns to Owen Field. He’s off to a strong start to the season with 10 receptions for 252 yards, realizing the promise that made him a highly regarded prospect in the 2021 recruiting class.
The Green Wave will pose a challenge for the Oklahoma Sooners defense in both the run and pass game but the Sooners boast playmakers at every level of the defense. If the Sooners’ front seven can continue the way it has to start the 2024 season, it could be a long day for Tulane.
It’s slated to be a beautiful day in Norman for week three, but if you’re not going to be out at the game, here’s how you can tune into the action on Saturday.
How to Watch

Odds courtesy of BetMGM as of Friday, Sept. 13.
Oklahoma 27, Tulane 13: Tulane has a good offense, but they haven’t faced a defense as talented as the Oklahoma Sooners yet. It’s going to take another strong day from Zac Alley’s bunch to keep this one low scoring as the offense finds its stride. The offense does just enough in this one to hit the cover, but it isn’t quite the offensive explosion we’re looking for, so take the under on the points.
Odds: Oklahoma -13.5,
Over-Under: 46.5
