In 14 districts of Bihar, incidents of drowning during Jyutiya bath have come to light. Among them, the maximum 10 deaths have occurred in Aurangabad. Apart from this, 5 people have died in Chapra, 4 in Rohtas, 3 each in Kaimur, Siwan and Motihari. Two people have died due to drowning in Betia and Begusarai. One death each was reported in Gopalganj, Bhojpur, Nalanda, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Samastipur and Arwal.

On Wednesday, on the occasion of Jyutia Parva, women observed fast and prayed for the long life of their children. Meanwhile, news of 39 people losing their lives in accidents during Sanna in 14 districts of the state has also come to light. There were two major accidents in Aurangabad district in which 8 children died. Including four girls. The first incident took place in Barun Police Station area of ​​the district. Here women and girls were bathing in the lake. The women took a bath and went to a nearby temple to worship. The girls bathed in the lake.

Four girls drowned while trying to save each other

Meanwhile a girl started drowning in deep water. When he screamed, his sister went under the water to save him. She also started drowning, seeing this the other three girls also jumped into the water. But these too went into deep water. When people saw him drowning, they rushed to save him. People saved one girl but four girls died due to drowning.

18 children drowned, 14 rescued, 4 dead

Another incident took place in Kushaha of Madanpur police station area of ​​the district. Here 18 children drowned while bathing. Hearing the screams of the children, the surrounding people rushed to save them. 14 children were rescued with difficulty. But four children died due to drowning. Similar incidents have taken place in different districts of the state. After the accident, the family members of the deceased were shocked. The family members are in a bad condition and are crying. Parents are saddened by the death of their children. CM Nitish Kumar has expressed grief over the tragedies.
