Acid was thrown on a veiled student
A heartbreaking incident has come to light from Pilibhit in Uttar Pradesh. An LLB student was attacked with acid here. An LLB student was proposed to the court by a fellow clerk but the student rejected the proposal. After this, Munshi got very angry with the student. Enraged by this, Munshi threw acid on the student, injuring her severely.
Rejecting the proposal, the student even stopped talking to Munshi. After this, Munshi, blinded by unrequited love, throws acid on a veiled LLB student returning home with a lawyer. A fellow lawyer and a student were both injured in the accident and the accused Munshi fled the spot along with his friend. On the other hand, the accused said that he often talked to the student about work.
Munshi took revenge from the student
The accused mistook the conversation with the student for love and proposed to her. After this the student refused and later even stopped talking due to which she was being humiliated. Then, to teach the student a lesson, the accused drank acid from Bareilly and bought a burkha. As soon as the student was crossing Jiri Chawla in the forest, the accused along with his accomplice came from behind on a bike and fled from the spot by throwing acid on her from the moving bike.

On the other hand, after the incident, the police are continuously looking for the accused. During the investigation, the police seized a CCTV in which a young man was seen riding a bike with a burqa-clad man wearing gentleman’s chappals underneath. After that, the suspicion of the police increased and when the matter was investigated, the clerk working with the student turned out to be the accused. The police received a tip-off that the accused was going with his partner near the Ram Nagria temple in Gajraula police station area, when the police surrounded him, the accused started firing on seeing the police. After this, in the retaliatory firing by the police, the accused was shot in the leg and his accomplice fled after fleeing. SP said that pistol, cartridges and bike have been recovered from the accused and he has been sent to jail.
