According to IMD, rains will continue till October due to reactivation of monsoon. Due to which the winter cycle will also be affected.

Meanwhile, many parts of the country were waterlogged and many areas faced drought. The effect of heat remained unchanged during monsoon in Jammu and Kashmir. People were bothered by the humid heat here for the last two days. But once again the monsoon became active and the atmosphere became cold in no time.
What is La Nina?
La Niña is a counter-ocean current, a seasonal pattern that occurs in the Pacific Ocean. Its activation causes the ocean water to become cooler than normal and creates moisture in the wind, causing it to cool and flow. These winds add to the cold. According to meteorologists, La Nina is a Spanish word that means little girl. It is also called a ‘cold event’. When the water temperature in the eastern Pacific Ocean region drops below normal, a La Nina phenomenon occurs. Due to its effects, events like floods, droughts, light-heavy rains and landslides occur.
Rain will increase the cold
The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of prolonged winter due to premature activation of La Niña. Meteorologists say that the monsoon begins to weaken as soon as September begins and begins to withdraw as half the month passes. But with rain on Wednesday, Monsoon has become active once again. The Meteorological Department has predicted that rains will continue till the month of October due to active monsoon. Cold weather will soon increase along with rain.
The heat broke records, the clouds brought heavy rain
