As they do every week during the college football season, the US LBM Coaches Poll and the AP Poll’s were released today with Notre Dame not making much of a move north after defeating Texas A&M.
It was a different story at Pro Football Focus, as in its power ranking’s following Week 1 they have the Irish as the No. 3 team in the country. Max Chadwick and Dalton Wasserman complied the list, as they saw Notre Dame hold their top 2025 quarterback prospect Conner Weigman to a career-low 28.0 PFF passing grade.
While the other polls did have Notre Dame ranked high, there weren’t many other teams across the country that had a better Week 1 win than them.
While I don’t always agree with PFF’s rankings, I surely do with these. Hopefully the Coaches and AP poll will catch up with them in the near future.
