Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma is currently busy in Haryana election campaign. While addressing an election rally in Sonepat on Sunday, CM Sharma attacked the Congress. He said that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi wants to divide the country. Apart from this he said that India does not need Mullahs but doctors and engineers. Babars roaming in the country have to be thrown out. He said that Congressmen asked me why you closed 600 madrasas? I said I will stop the rest too.
Hitting out at the Congress, the Assam Chief Minister said that Rahul Gandhi wants to end reservations and bring back Article 370. The biggest example of broken promises in the country if anyone is Rahul Gandhi. Under the Khat-Khat scheme, they say they will give Rs 8000 and in the manifesto they promise Rs 2000. His promise of 2 lakh jobs in Haryana is also a new means of earning from spending slips.

The CM further said that wherever there is a BJP government, the youth of the state are given jobs without any slip and cost. Today in Haryana Congress is talking about giving 2000 rupees per month to women. If you want to give, fine, but you also promised in Himachal Pradesh, did you give it there? Rahul Gandhi should ask his leaders whether the promises he made have been fulfilled or not.
‘Let’s talk about ending reservations in America’
The CM said that Rahul Gandhi says in the country that he will not allow the reservation to be exhausted, but after going to America, he says that there will come a day in India when the reservation will be exhausted. I want to tell him that reservation was not given by you, it was given by Baba Saheb Ambedkar. Even if you take ten births it is not possible to remove this reservation. Coming to Haryana, they were asking what will happen to Agniveer, but Union Home Minister Amit Shah has said that Agniveer was in the job before and will continue to be.
