The cylinder was found again in front of the train
A case of conspiracy to derail a train has come to light once again in Kanpur, where a fire extinguisher cylinder has been found on the railway tracks. After seeing this, the Pushpak Express loco pilot applied brakes and stopped the train at a short distance. A fire extinguisher cylinder was placed on the railway track in front of Pushpak Express from Mumbai to Lucknow on Govindpuri-Bhimsen railway line route at around 4:00 am.
As soon as the pilot reported the incident to the GRP and RPF, there was an uproar. GRP-RPF has taken possession of the fire summon cylinder and started investigation. According to the details on the fire extinguisher, it belongs to the Carriage and Baggage Department of the Railways in Gorakhpur, according to senior railway officials.
They believe he may have fallen off the train. Now, earlier the conspiracy to derail the Sabarmati train on this track came to light. The police are busy investigating the matter thoroughly. A departmental inquiry has also been started regarding this railway fire extinguisher cylinder. Despite the information about the cylinder on the railway track at 4:00 am, the Railways has not yet registered any FIR.
North Central Railway PRO Amit Malviya said that the cylinder found on the track had SSC Carriage and Bagan written in white. The Loko Pilot of Pushpak Express stopped the train in the morning after seeing it lying on the tracks between Bhimsen and Govindpuri stations. It looks like either someone threw him off the train or he fell off the train. At present the railway officials have reached the spot for investigation and are conducting only departmental investigation due to the departmental code written on the cylinder.
A few days back, a conspiracy was hatched to derail the Sabarmati Express on this route. Which is still being investigated by the railway officials. A few days later, a domestic gas cylinder containing gunpowder, matches and petrol was found on the Farrukhabad Road track in Kanpur’s Shivrajpur area. Local police including NIA, ATS and IB are also investigating, but their hands are empty.
