Robbery accused in police custody.
On the night of July 11, 15 armed men entered the transport office in Delhi and looted crores of rupees. Police have arrested 12 people including the cab driver who carried out the robbery. The cab driver was earlier working in the same transport company. The cab driver got angry after being scolded and insulted by the company owner’s son.
The cab driver plans a robbery to avenge the insult and has prepared a team of 15 different people for this. Delhi Police has arrested 12 people involved in this robbery and recovered Rs 1.15 crore from them so far. The incident is on July 11. On the same day, the company received a payment of Rs 3.5 crore. The incident took place at Bikaner Assam Transport Company located in Kishanganj area of Delhi.

Cab driver Upendra was aware of all cash movements in the transport office. He included Kailash Chauhan, a truck driver from the same office, in his robbery plan. The police said that these two together formed a team of 15 people.

On July 11 at around 10.45 pm, 15 people entered the transport office with weapons, threatened people at gunpoint, looted crores of cash and fled in two cars. With the help of CCTV, the police traced the car used in the robbery and succeeded in reaching the accused. So far 12 people have been arrested while three are absconding. Their search is on. The police said that the trio will also be arrested soon.
The criminals involved in the robbery were from across India – including Khajuraho and Bhind in Madhya Pradesh, Nainital in Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi among other places.
