Robbery On Sand Wharf In Arah, Intrepid Miscreants Break Into Office; 2 People Were Shot

After this, the armed criminals started firing continuously and fled after looting two steel boxes, a bag containing a printer and a laptop.

As for the injured, one of them is 20-year-old Sonu Kumar, a resident of Bhimpura village in Ajimabad police station area, while the other is 27-year-old Mukesh Kumar Gupta, a resident of Saraiya village in Sandesh police station area. Both of them work in loading vehicles on sand ghats. The injured Mukesh said that he works to bring in vehicles coming from outside at 18 (B) Sand Ghat in Kazichak village. After loading they get money as commission.

Criminal absconded with laptop, printer, bag

He further stated that on Monday night he was filling sand on the vehicle at Balu Ghat and issuing challan. Meanwhile, six armed criminals came there and put a rifle on his temple, when he protested, they shot him. After that, all the criminals entered the room built on the sand bar and fired about twenty rounds and also shot one of his friends who was in the room. After this, the criminals fled with a laptop, printer, bag and two steel boxes.

The condition of both the injured is stable

Dr. Vikas Singh, the surgeon treating the injured, said that one of the injured was shot on the head and the other on the right shoulder and left leg, on the thigh. Both have now been operated on to remove the bullets and repair the damaged parts. Currently, both the injured will be kept under observation.

Two criminals arrested with weapons

In this case, Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar said that on the night of August 12 and 13, 4-5 criminals opened fire at a sand ghat counter in Kazichak under Sandesh police station in Bhojpur district during a robbery, in which two people were killed. Injured police have arrested two accused with arms and cartridges. Raids are being conducted to identify and arrest other accused.
