Rajesh Kumar auditioned for Shark Tank India
Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai fame actor Rajesh Kumar is always winning people’s hearts with his acting. Rajesh Kumar has left acting and started farming in his village. If we ask you to imagine Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’s Rosesh Sarabhai in the TV show Shark Tank India, you might find it strange, but if the makers of the show had chosen Rajesh Kumar, it could have happened. The actor himself said that he applied for the show, but was not selected.
TV actor Rajesh Kumar revealed in an interview to Siddharth Kannan that he applied to join Shark Tank India, but was rejected even after passing two rounds. He applied for the show many years after he quit acting and started farming.
While Rajesh Kumar had no work
Rajesh Kumar talked about his break from acting in this interview. The actor said, “I didn’t have any work then, so I was trying different things. I applied for Shark Tank India. I also cleared two out of three rounds. I also had to submit my videos, so I thought maybe I could get some benefit as an actor since I’m already a known face.”
The ticket money was given by the father
In that video, I was portraying an actor who is a social entrepreneur and talking about farming. My presentation was in Kolkata and was over in a day, but even after two rounds I was rejected. I remember my father paying for the train ticket to Kolkata.
Got an offer for ‘Haddi’ without an audition
The actor continued, “After getting rejected from Shark Tank, my confidence was so shaken that I could get film offers without even auditioning, but that’s when I got the chance to do it in Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer ‘Haddi’.”
